St. Lawrence College Pathway
International students benefit tremendously from learning and living in Canada prior to entering a Canadian college. The experience familiarizes students with the expectations of the Canadian classroom, enriches their English abilities quickly through immersion, and acclimatizes them to Canadian social norms. Students who complete their high school diploma in Canada are more thoroughly prepared for academic achievement when they reach college.
What is the St. Lawrence College Pathway?
The St. Lawrence Pathway provides international students with a seamless transition from Canadian high school to college. When accepted to a Limestone high school, qualified students also receive a conditional acceptance letter for admission to St. Lawrence College. Having that pathway through high school and college allows students to focus on clear academic goals as soon as they arrive in Canada.
Normally it takes two years or more for international students to achieve the credits required for the Ontario high school diploma. Therefore the St. Lawrence Pathway is intended for students who are mid-way through high-school in their home country, or around age 16. (The earlier a student begins at Limestone, the better.)

Some St. Lawrence programs require students to complete specific high school perquisite courses. The availability of those courses at Limestone is affected by the time of year that one applies, school-specific factors, and homestay location. As Limestone cannot guarantee the availability of any course a Pathway applicant may require, it will assess each application on a case-by-case basis. Students considering the Pathway program should submit their application as early as possible.
The application deadline is March 31st each year. However, we recommend that you apply as early as possible.
Please submit the following completed documents to Tomoko Phippen, Registration and Finance Officer (firstname.lastname@example.org):
Your application package will be reviewed by both Limestone and St. Lawrence.
